Their Speech and Debate team won the State Championship (small schools) in 2004. In 2003, Foothill had the league record of sending 7 students to the National Championships. Their FFA Advanced Parliamentary Procedure Team won a National Championship at the National FFA Convention in October 2007.
In 2010 the We The People team made it to state for the first time in their We the People History. Although they did not make it to the final rounds in the capitol, Unit 4 of the team received a Unit award out of the remaining 7 schools.
